| Genesis 31:36 | Then Jacob became angry and berated Laban. Jacob said to Laban, "What is my offense? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me? |
| 1 Samuel 24:9 | And David said to Saul, "Why do you listen to the words of men who say, 'Behold, David seeks your harm'? |
| 1 Samuel 24:10 | Behold, this day your eyes have seen how the LORD gave you today into my hand in the cave. And some told me to kill you, but I spared you. I said, 'I will not put out my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD's anointed.' |
| 1 Samuel 24:11 | See, my father, see the corner of your robe in my hand. For by the fact that I cut off the corner of your robe and did not kill you, you may know and see that there is no wrong or treason in my hands. I have not sinned against you, though you hunt my life to take it. |
| 1 Samuel 24:12 | May the LORD judge between me and you, may the LORD avenge me against you, but my hand shall not be against you. |
| 1 Samuel 24:13 | As the proverb of the ancients says, 'Out of the wicked comes wickedness.' But my hand shall not be against you. |
| 1 Samuel 24:14 | After whom has the king of Israel come out? After whom do you pursue? After a dead dog! After a flea! |
| 1 Samuel 24:15 | May the LORD therefore be judge and give sentence between me and you, and see to it and plead my cause and deliver me from your hand." |
| 1 Samuel 26:18 | And he said, "Why does my lord pursue after his servant? For what have I done? What evil is on my hands? |
| 1 Samuel 26:19 | Now therefore let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is the LORD who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the LORD, for they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in the heritage of the LORD, saying, 'Go, serve other gods.' |
| 1 Samuel 26:20 | Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth away from the presence of the LORD, for the king of Israel has come out to seek a single flea like one who hunts a partridge in the mountains." |
| 1 Samuel 26:21 | Then Saul said, "I have sinned. Return, my son David, for I will no more do you harm, because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Behold, I have acted foolishly, and have made a great mistake." |
| Proverbs 17:13 | If anyone returns evil for good, evil will not depart from his house. |
| Proverbs 17:26 | To impose a fine on a righteous man is not good, nor to strike the noble for their uprightness. |
| Jeremiah 26:19 | Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the LORD and entreat the favor of the LORD, and did not the LORD relent of the disaster that he had pronounced against them? But we are about to bring great disaster upon ourselves." |
| Daniel 6:22 | My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm." |
| John 10:32 | Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?" |
| Acts 23:1 | And looking intently at the council, Paul said, "Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day." |

| Acts 25:11 | If then I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything for which I deserve to die, I do not seek to escape death. But if there is nothing to their charges against me, no one can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar." |
| Acts 25:25 | But I found that he had done nothing deserving death. And as he himself appealed to the emperor, I decided to go ahead and send him. |
| Acts 26:31 | And when they had withdrawn, they said to one another, "This man is doing nothing to deserve death or imprisonment." |

| 2 Kings 3:13 | And Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and to the prophets of your mother." But the king of Israel said to him, "No; it is the LORD who has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab." |
| Jeremiah 2:28 | But where are your gods that you made for yourself? Let them arise, if they can save you, in your time of trouble; for as many as your cities are your gods, O Judah. |
| your | |
| Jeremiah 6:14 | They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. |
| Jeremiah 8:11 | They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. |
| Jeremiah 14:13 | Then I said: "Ah, Lord GOD, behold, the prophets say to them, 'You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.'" |
| Jeremiah 14:14 | And the LORD said to me: "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds. |
| Jeremiah 14:15 | Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, 'Sword and famine shall not come upon this land': By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. |
| Jeremiah 23:17 | They say continually to those who despise the word of the LORD, 'It shall be well with you'; and to everyone who stubbornly follows his own heart, they say, 'No disaster shall come upon you.'" |
| Jeremiah 27:14 | Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are saying to you, 'You shall not serve the king of Babylon,' for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you. |
| Jeremiah 27:15 | I have not sent them, declares the LORD, but they are prophesying falsely in my name, with the result that I will drive you out and you will perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you." |
| Jeremiah 27:16 | Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, "Thus says the LORD: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who are prophesying to you, saying, 'Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house will now shortly be brought back from Babylon,' for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you. |
| Jeremiah 27:17 | Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon and live. Why should this city become a desolation? |
| Jeremiah 27:18 | If they are prophets, and if the word of the LORD is with them, then let them intercede with the LORD of hosts, that the vessels that are left in the house of the LORD, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon. |
| Jeremiah 28:1 | In that same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying, |
| Jeremiah 28:2 | "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. |
| Jeremiah 28:3 | Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the LORD's house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. |
| Jeremiah 28:4 | I will also bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon, declares the LORD, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon." |
| Jeremiah 28:5 | Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Hananiah the prophet in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the LORD, |
| Jeremiah 28:10 | Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke-bars from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke them. |
| Jeremiah 28:11 | And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, "Thus says the LORD: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within two years." But Jeremiah the prophet went his way. |
| Jeremiah 28:12 | Sometime after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke-bars from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: |
| Jeremiah 28:13 | "Go, tell Hananiah, 'Thus says the LORD: You have broken wooden bars, but you have made in their place bars of iron. |
| Jeremiah 28:14 | For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put upon the neck of all these nations an iron yoke to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him, for I have given to him even the beasts of the field.'" |
| Jeremiah 28:15 | And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, "Listen, Hananiah, the LORD has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie. |
| Jeremiah 28:16 | Therefore thus says the LORD: 'Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have uttered rebellion against the LORD.'" |
| Jeremiah 28:17 | In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died. |

| Lamentations 2:14 | Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading. |
| Ezekiel 13:10 | Precisely because they have misled my people, saying, 'Peace,' when there is no peace, and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear it with whitewash, |
| Ezekiel 13:11 | say to those who smear it with whitewash that it shall fall! There will be a deluge of rain, and you, O great hailstones, will fall, and a stormy wind break out. |
| Ezekiel 13:12 | And when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, 'Where is the coating with which you smeared it?' |
| Ezekiel 13:13 | Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I will make a stormy wind break out in my wrath, and there shall be a deluge of rain in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to make a full end. |
| Ezekiel 13:14 | And I will break down the wall that you have smeared with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it falls, you shall perish in the midst of it, and you shall know that I am the LORD. |
| Ezekiel 13:15 | Thus will I spend my wrath upon the wall and upon those who have smeared it with whitewash, and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor those who smeared it, |
