| Amorites | |
| Numbers 21:21 | Then Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying, |
| Numbers 21:22 | "Let me pass through your land. We will not turn aside into field or vineyard. We will not drink the water of a well. We will go by the King's Highway until we have passed through your territory." |
| Numbers 21:23 | But Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his territory. He gathered all his people together and went out against Israel to the wilderness and came to Jahaz and fought against Israel. |
| Numbers 21:24 | And Israel defeated him with the edge of the sword and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as to the Ammonites, for the border of the Ammonites was strong. |
| Numbers 21:25 | And Israel took all these cities, and Israel settled in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages. |
| Numbers 21:35 | So they defeated him and his sons and all his people, until he had no survivor left. And they possessed his land. |
| Psalms 135:10 | who struck down many nations and killed mighty kings, |
| Psalms 135:11 | Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan, |
| children | |
| Judges 3:11 | So the land had rest forty years. Then Othniel the son of Kenaz died. |
| Judges 3:12 | And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done what was evil in the sight of the LORD. |
| Judges 3:13 | He gathered to himself the Ammonites and the Amalekites, and went and defeated Israel. And they took possession of the city of palms. |
| Judges 3:14 | And the people of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years. |
| Judges 3:15 | Then the people of Israel cried out to the LORD, and the LORD raised up for them a deliverer, Ehud, the son of Gera, the Benjaminite, a left-handed man. The people of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab. |
| Did not I | |
| Judges 2:1 | Now the angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, "I brought you up from Egypt and brought you into the land that I swore to give to your fathers. I said, 'I will never break my covenant with you, |
| Judges 2:2 | and you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall break down their altars.' But you have not obeyed my voice. What is this you have done? |
| Judges 2:3 | So now I say, I will not drive them out before you, but they shall become thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you." |
| Egyptians | |
| Exodus 14:30 | Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. |
| 1 Samuel 12:8 | When Jacob went into Egypt, and the Egyptians oppressed them, then your fathers cried out to the LORD and the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place. |
| Nehemiah 9:9 | "And you saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt and heard their cry at the Red Sea, |
| Nehemiah 9:10 | and performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants and all the people of his land, for you knew that they acted arrogantly against our fathers. And you made a name for yourself, as it is to this day. |
| Nehemiah 9:11 | And you divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into mighty waters. |
| Psalms 78:51 | He struck down every firstborn in Egypt, the firstfruits of their strength in the tents of Ham. |
| Psalms 78:52 | Then he led out his people like sheep and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. |
| Psalms 78:53 | He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. |
| Psalms 106:8 | Yet he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make known his mighty power. |
| Psalms 106:9 | He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry, and he led them through the deep as through a desert. |
| Psalms 106:10 | So he saved them from the hand of the foe and redeemed them from the power of the enemy. |
| Psalms 106:11 | And the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them was left. |
| Hebrews 11:29 | By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as if on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned. |
| Philistines | |
| Judges 3:31 | After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed 600 of the Philistines with an oxgoad, and he also saved Israel. |
